BREAKER POLICY: If there is no electrical service at the service request location, the customer MUST turn off the MAIN BREAKER before a meter can set and electric service can be activated. A meter will not set if the main breaker is on. A $25.00 service charge will reflect on your statement if an REU employee makes an additional service call to activate service due to the disregarding of our breaker policy.

Please contact our office prior to your scheduled activation date if you have questions about our breaker policy. Doing so allows someone from our team to walk you through the process of turning off your breaker, prior to activation of service, and is the best way to ensure no additional activation fees acumulate on your account.
