Customer Notice

Due in large part to supply chain issues and other economic conditions which are prevalent and expected to continue, the Electric Power Board of Rockwood has modified its policy for Aid-To-Construction Charges and Fees for new residential customers. Effective July 1, 2022, new residential customers will be required to pay a non-refundable aid-to- construction amount equal to the estimated total cost of construction for the work required for temporary and permanent service. This includes all overhead and underground primary extensions, secondary, services, make-ready, upgrades, relocations, conversions, etc. REU’s engineering department will calculate the costs after reviewing the scope of work with the homeowner, general contractor, etc. All fees will be required to be paid prior to work being performed.
