In order for TVA to safely repair a damaged switch at the Kingston Fossil plant, REU needs to have two temporary power outages. The first one will be on Tuesday, May 3rd and the second one will be on Thursday, May 5th. Both of these outages will be from 10:00 pm to 1:00am. The Impacted areas in the vicinity of the Kingston Substation are not known at this time. An update to this communications will be provided on May 2, 2022 after switching procedures have been approved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your patience while all employees work safely to repair this damaged equipment to reduce the potential for future, unplanned outages.
